     Every group did a good job at presenting how racial problems divide and affect us during this horrible pandemic. The groups got assigned the topics of history of law and order, health care and immigration, and racial divides in America. Talking about these issues will help us understand what's going on in the country and help us come together in these times. Group 1 did a good job at explaining the history of law and order. The talked about court cases and how law and order has changed throughout the years. Group 1 also mentioned how corrupt the system was back then and how many racist laws were used to keep minorities down especially black people. They also talked about rallies and protests that are going on right now and how it is affected by law and order. The people in their group explained everything with great detail and gave a really good presentation. Group 2 did their presentation on health care and immigration. They talked about the problem that we have with healthcare here in the U.S since some people can afford it and some can't. Health care has become expensive for many people and during the pandemic healthcare has become more important, people should get health care at a price they can afford and not at an overpriced rate. They also talked about immigration and how it has affected many people, since people are losing jobs because of the pandemic and illegal immigrants take jobs from people who need them. Group 3 which is the group that I'm in talked about the history of racism in the U.S.  We talked about the ongoing blm protests and the riots that are going on over the death of George Floyd. We talked about how black people used to be treated back then and how it has affected them over generations. Racism has been a big problem that has affected and plagued the U.S. Black people aren't the only ones that are suffering from racism, Asian Americans have suffered many hate attacks because of the Corona virus. I talked about how Asian people have been discriminated and have been afraid of going outside their house, all this just because the Corona Virus originated from China. This also resembles how black people were treated during the Ebola outbreak. We are still suffering from racism in the year 2020, this year the country has been divided not just by it , but also by the corona virus.  We should try to settle our differences and come together as the human race, we should try to help each other and beat this pandemic so we could all get back to our daily lives. Group 4 was the last group to present, they did a wonderful presentation about voting and the two party system we have here in the U.S. Their presentation was really outstanding, the videos and the information they showed really got their point across and showed us that our voices matter. Overall all the groups did a good job in this presentation. The 4 groups explained their topics really well and did wonderful and interesting presentations. This topics let us know about our current situation and how we could come together in these hard times.
